COMMUNITY WEBSITE'S OTHER SIDE

There are two sides for the same coin.Every brighter things have a darker side also.Everyone knows the brighter side of the community websites well.That is the main reason for the growing popularity of such sites.This sites bring people closer,increases the chance for a worldwide friendship and people get to know each other and their cultures.

As the popularity increases, the misuse of such sites are also increasing.I have came across some serious cases in the newspaper about misuse of such sites and some have even caused loss of life.I am not going into details about how the site is misused,but i would love to narrate some of the funny but interesting incidents in my life associated with community websites.

The incidents I am narrating may be funny , but we have to think how it affects the concerned people.I had a friend named Shiron .He is an active member of a community websites.His major work is to make friendship with girls.For this he use to go to his friends sites and use that contact and bluffs and makes friendship with their girl friends.One day Shiron and friend Vinod had a small fight.Only then everybody came to know about this incidents.The main reason for their fight was that Shiron made friendship with Vinod's girlfriends and the next day the girls deleted Vinod from their friends list.(The names mentioned here are not the original ones).How interesting !...

The other incident is centered around Vinod.Another main hobby of Vinod was to create communities and make himself the administrator and moderator.He creates voting and when everyone noted that he himself was getting maximum votes.He was an average student and when he puts the voting for the most studious student in the class, he got maximum votes.He does this things just to show students of the other classes who may not know the truth.The secret why he get maximum vote is also an interesting one.He invites friends to his house and invite them to use internet.His system has certain softwares such as keylogger etc which automatically saves your passwords which you used to enter sites from that system.Once I also fell in the trap but I changed my password on time.......

In another incident , one of our senior was made to dress in a yellow full sleeve shirt and black pants with a rose flower in his hands.He was asked to wait in a park in this way on a working day by one of his online community website girl friend.Actually the girls profile was a fake and was made by his friends.They were also hiding in the park.They made fun of him, but he was hurt and they apologized for it.......

These are some of the funny incidences I have came across.But I am sure some serious incidences are going on...The main defense is self consciousness.Let us be more alert so that we are not seriously fooled.

DOES LIFE IN THE SLUMS AFFECT CHILD BEHAVIOR

Social activists and governments discuss a great deal about providing facilities to the people living in slums.But little has been done to study the changes in the behavior of the children living in the slums and especially those who finally take begging as their profession.The incidents that occurred in Mumbai forced me to write such an article.

I should narrate the incidents first.While walking from Kurla railway station to Lokmanya Tilak railway station, I found a lot of children in the railway platform and also in the nearby slums.On a small road having wall on both sides,some children were playing cricket right across the road.The road was crowded by passengers who were going between two stations.But they paid little consideration and hits the ball as hard as they can.The ball hit an old man and he almost fell.It was a nasty blow for an old man.They never paid attention and continued their game.When the old man tried to advice them to change their place for playing,instead of even listening,they hurled bad words at him and threatened him.Other elder people walking through that road,never paid attention to all these incidents.The old man was literally threatened away.

Another incident occurred when I was waiting at the railway station.A small kid came up with a very small undernourished, almost skeletoned child in his arms.He begged money to by food for his younger brother.Usually I never give money to beggars,as I feel it actually encourages begging and prevent them from leading a noble life.But I was very moved by the condition of that young kid and thought he was in real need for food.So I gave his brother some money.As I was so early , I have to wait for a long time.After sometime a women came up with the same small child and begged money for his food.I said I have already given money to his brother.She didn't understood my language and went away.I thought she was his mother and thought that the whole family was very concerned about this small child.I had to wait hours for the train.Then I found that the same child was used by many children,old men etc for begging.I found it hard to believe that an undernutritioned child was being utilized by every one like a public property to make their living.

I think they were purposely not feeding the young child to utilize him for begging. I think the life in slums and begging are changing the behavior of the children.They are becoming arrogant,rude and were ready to use any method to extract money.Even in childhood they were forced to act like adults or even like criminals.It is hightime that the people around the world do something to give back their childhood and help them build a good future.

WISH YOU A NEW LIFE

I have buried him just now.He was so close to me,actually I have buried a part of myself.This is not the first time i have buried a lovely young cat.I called him 'Mittu'.When I reached home , mother was cursing some of my neighbors who used to poison cats just because they are living in our house.I was so moved by his death that her curses felt like some distant noises and my mind was filled with his curious, innocent and lovely face.His only aim was to eat something,sleep and play with his brother.

They were the youngest members of our family and all of us treated them like young kids.He was pure white with some large grey spots having some tiger like black spots on it.His brother 'Luttu' was also similar in appearance.I called Mittu 'elayavan' means younger brother,as he was the smaller one while they were so young.Mittu eats very little and he was the naughtiest and everyone in our house loved him more than his brother.This was because he rarely gets diseases and Luttu was lately troubled by loose motion and he becomes a little dirty.This disease almost killed Luttu and he almost became a skelleton.He became so weak that mother cursed neighbours for giving some sort of poison.There was no reason to disbelief her as this reason has killed many of our cats.Mother has pledged to give five rupees to a near by temple if he is saved,and it worked.We have never restricted or tied our cats,they were free to move any where and do anything.One thing I have observed that ,we humans are running after many material things,but for the innocent animals the only thing they wish is their freedom eventhough it costs their life.I think the same happened with my Mittu.If I had restricted him I could have saved his life.But I am not unhappy about my self , because due to his freedom he enjoyed every bit of his short span of life.

Mittu was very healthy.He used to run with me while I was doing some exercise in the morning.Most of the time I used to do exercise only to play with him.He likes to grab tennis ball and play with it.Some days in the morning he would be sleeping and I would wake him up to play with me while I do some exercises.They were really cute brothers.They eat,sleep and play together and always stick together.The most moving thing was that ,while his younger brother was lying dead Luttu was eating and he was trying to play with the motionless cold body of his younger brother.Infact he was ignorant and thought his brother was lazilly sleeping wasting an eating opportunity.Their mother was nowhere near.The great thing about her is that she looks after her kids more than anything.She never leaves them even if they grow bigger.She may be searching for her kid even now without knowing that her kid have left the earth to find some new friends out there in some higher world, where there is no one to poison him.But he may be missing his brother and may be his human brother also.Dear mittu I miss you very much.

Today morning Mittu was very weak and he was so weak even to eat and drink.I thought he would recover as it had already happened to his brother.I used the same trick as my mother and pledged to give money to the nearby temple if he is saved.But God's were were harsh this time and they took his life away.But I gave the money to temple simply to impress the Gods to give him a peaceful and free life in heaven.I also prayed to Gods to never give another life to such innocent,lovely and loyal animals inthis world filled with enemity,hatred and greed which does not even spare this poor animals.

I wish you a happy new life.All my sorrows and grief would be forgotten if I know that you are happy in your new world.A lot of floral tributes to you for giving me some beautiful and happy moments in my life.You would remain in my heart for ever and your brother would remind me how he also misses you.

I am dead forever, for someone so dear ,

But I am so near , but far from my dear ;

Stuck in this world , where none will hear ,

Fear to feel the silence so shear ;

Why the Gods just hung me here ?,

Tore me apart or take me somewhere ,

It's hard to be in the middle world nowhere;

My blood was cleaned away by the worms,

But I cannot find my body among the ruins;

End my life in the middle world forever,

Now that I am dead show me the heaven or hell somewhere ?

Show me the heaven or hell somewhere .

THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A GOOD ARTIST

I have seen many artists of our country even Hussain while painting,what i have learned from them is that to become a good artist you should have the passion ,dedication,determination and patience for it.In my view the great asset for an artist is his inborn talents,this determines the difference between a good artist and a great artist.According to me Observation is the greatest tool of a successful artist.Observation includes both intensive and extensive observation of nature ( By Nature i meant every thing around you including landscape,persons,animals and all living and non living things ).Keen observation and wider thinking will make you a great artist.

I started drawing from my childhood days and I am still continuing.Even though I couldn't spent too much time on painting as I am an engineering student, painting is still my passion.Even though I am in the field of painting for about 15 years , there is still much to be learned i.e I am still in the beginning stages in the field of learning of painting.I have got many prizes in this field including the scholarship for painting (National Cultural Talent Search Scholarship for Painting).So I cannot be a good teacher, but I can give you some suggestions from my very little experience in this field.I will be telling you about my beginning phases in this field and some suggestions for some of my interested readers who are longing to become a good artist.So wait for my next blog and we will have an interesting journey in the field of painting

I was very fascinated about universe,for its beauty and wideness.Every thing in this universe is a work of art,whether it is earth or its living or non living things.Universe comprise of not only earth but also a wide and unexplored area of beauty and illusion which we humans couldn't understand fully because of his constraints or because some unknown power is restricting our abilities.

We couldn't even find all the type of matter in the universe.We knew only a few percentage of matter present in the universe,all the unknown matter we call them as dark matter.

Arts are a way of expression and encouragement for human beings,it still continues like that.In future we will also discuss about arts and its wider perspective in human life.We will also explore the beauty of universe and unravel the secrets of it.So continue to follow my blog and be my friends.
